5. Concept Statement • Harrisonburg Pregnancy Center Media Design Team will create a web-based training tool regarding community resources intended to support the Client Advocates at the Harrisonburg Pregnancy Center. This tool will enhance the training experience and ultimately the workplace.

6. Goal • To create a web-based training tool that will introduce interactivity, accessibility of information, and self-paced learning into the Harrisonburg Pregnancy Center’s community resources training module, designed for their Client Advocates (counselors).

7. Objectives • To address some training needs of the HPC, and meet the requirements determined by the Executive Director and the Client Services Director. • Create an online training module for the HPC trainees, who will utilize as a resource for instruction on Community Referrals and Material Services distribution training.

8. Target Audience • HPC staff (employees and volunteers) • Client Advocates (counselors) who have completed the basic training counseling course for the center • Staff who work with the Material Services clients • Client Advocates may be male or female, and vary in age
