We will discuss the motivation to tackle a Master Data Management initiative, the methodology used, architectural choices and the operational efficiencies and value gained from our endeavours. For the Data Landscape to contribute to the Product-Creation-to-Sales Value Chain, one must be able to answer three key questions: • Where is the business critical information? • How can I relate the business critical information together? • Where are the inconsistencies that lead us to lower efficiencies? • Many organizations have embarked on SOA strategies within the last several years.  Whether the approach to adoption is an evolution through integration platforms or a big bang implementation, achieving the benefits of SOA requires much more than building a registry of web services or integrating multiple systems through middleware.  Consideration must be given to the business domain so that the services truly represent the business processes, independently of the systems involved.  The most common challenges relate to data sourcing, service contracts, and managing change. Registration and attendance at this event provides you the opportunity to learn from successful implementations of Master Data Management, as well as the opportunity to network with fellow Data Management professionals.
