  1. A Day In The MUD A how to read book by: Mildred Dean S.T.L.P.

  2. Chapter 1 Once upon a time, it rained for days. Knows, no one really knows how long it rained, but I think it rained for a entire year.

  3. Everyone was depressed. Televisions did not work. The sky was black and full of lighting. No one knew when the storm would end.

  4. Chapter 2 Then, one day the sun came out. Everyone ran outside screaming, except one kid named Mike.

  5. The reason Mike did not come out was because in front of his door lied the largest puddle of mud he had ever seen. It was so big a car could fit in it. He could not get out of his house without getting in the mud.

  6. Chapter 3 So, instead of giving up, he decided to make the best of his day even though his parents said not to.

  7. He played in the mud. Even though there wasn't much to do, he played there for hours. It was so deep he could swim in it. He splashed, and dove into the deep end of the mud.

  8. Chapter 4 Then, right after he dove in he got stuck. His head was deep in the mud. His mom had to call the fire department!

  9. That is why you always listen to your parents. Even though he got out, he learned a lessen.
