  1. The Ideal School Rafael Allswede 1st Hora Espanol II

  2. Escuela: • Instituto de Espanol Costa Rica • Donde: San Jose, Costa Rica • http://www.professionalspanish.com/index.html

  3. Differences • IECR: • Group classes with 4-5 people or • Individual classes • ELHS • All group classes of 25-30 people • No individual classes • Conclusion: Less students, more attention, but less friends.

  4. Differences • IECR: • Focused on one subject only • Spanish Only • ELHS: • Focused on six subjects • Math, Science, English, etc. • Conclusion: I’d rather learn 6 subjects than just Spanish…Maybe if I had a choice of subject I might change my mind

  5. Differences • IECR: • Attend as long as you want, one week minimum. • 4 hours of Spanish (ick…) • ELHS: • 180 days. No choice. • About 7 hours, 6 classes, and lunch • Conclusion: Sorry Senora Gehres, but 4 hours of Spanish is not my idea of fun…

  6. Differences • IECR: • $230: One week of group classes without lodging, food, nothing. • ELHS: • Free: Good education for 180 days • Conclusion: IECR is for rich people with nothing to do with their money but waste it on learning Spanish.

  7. Conclusion • The Ideal School • Learning subjects of my choice • Choice of how long school is depending on how much I want to work • Individual classes if I want But… • No 4 hour work sessions • Free • Keep the friends and a couple group classes
