  2. Actress 5 Points • When growing up my sister did plays in school. Acting to me looked fun. When I was in the 7th grade I started doing plays. As you may know I’m a shy person. But when I'm acting it brings out a new person. I would watch TV and see all of those actors making people happy and making people laugh. I knew that when I grew up I wanted to be an actress.

  3. College For college I would like to go to Julliard! Usually when I heard about this school it was for acting. And everyone who gets in must do theater and be talented. Which is perfect for me. 5 Points

College courses • You would have to take theater class and probably do after school plays. • I figure because your in college you would have to take basic classes like math, science and English. • Also I would love to do dance and chorus because musicals like “Les Misérables” I will have to dance/Sing. 5 Points…you will need to name the exact courses for full credit such as Acting 101 or Drama 101. You will probably have to research the school or even e-mail them

So for the salary I looked at different websites and this is what I got: • You get paid $17.44 per hour. • For long term or annually you will get $51,380 (usually, but in LA it’s 80,000) • But I made a graph to show other city salaries in California so when ever I get an acting job I'm willing to live in these cities.

  8. Los Angeles Housing cost? • Housing in LA, California is kind of expensive. Because most celebrities and rich people work there it’s no lower than 100,00k or so that’s what I’ve heard. • On the next slide I saw this graph on a website I saw searched the info on >

  10. My Home For me I Want to live in Los Angeles. It’s very beautiful. At first I really wanted a house, but I soon realized I couldn’t afford it. So I decided to get a fancy apartment for 2,000(est.)

  15. Budget This is what I found out about how much money I will spend: • Food: $200 • Clothes: $500 • Rent and Bills: $4,000 • Health Care:$183 Total: $4,700 Plus I'm making about $5,000 a month so I guess this is a reasonable amount of money. 20 Points

  17. 5 Points Work Environment If you want to work as an actress you have to get use to working with other people. You have costars, extras and directors that you need to be friendly with to get the job done. You also have to travel a whole lot! Making movies or even TV shows, they all require to got to different states. Even countries!

  18. How To advance in the career 5 Points • If you ever want to act, you don’t need to go to College. But it wouldn’t hurt to have some type of a college background. “Some college, no degree” needed. • Even if you take acting classes, you would have a bigger chance of getting the part! But your not guaranteed it.

  19. Locations 5 Points • When being an actress you have to be able to live at the location you are at, anytime they need you. • Any Location! Such as any state or even country. But it would be fun to travel the world.

  20. My daily Life 5 Points • Even if I do become an actress I will have time for my family and friends. It might be hard at times since I will have to travel for filming. But I can work it out because family always comes first. • Plus since I'm an actress I will need a car for transportation. I would want a good one so every week I will put $2,000 in my savings account. I'm making about $50,000 a year so I can afford it. (hopefully)

  22. Will I be happy? 5 Points • In conclusion yes this the career I want. Not only does it pay a lot. And I get the advantages like going to award shows and becoming a big STAR! But it also makes me very happy. What I have learned 5 Points • I have learned from this project that, jobs aren’t easy to have. And with my apartment and expensive I barley have any money. It’s been my life dream to become an actress, but it’s going to be a long time to get there.
