  2. Get your body moving! Join us for a 6-week “Everybody. Everyday.”wellness program July 9 – August 19

  3. ”Everybody. Everyday” is a six-week program that aims to provide the tools and support necessary to begin making a conscious and deliberate choice to be active everyday. The goal is for everybody to develop a habit of scheduling physical activity into their week and to adopt a habit of engaging in physical activity everyday. What’s it all about?

Builds endurance and muscular strength • Enhances flexibility and posture • Helps build and maintain bones, muscles and joints • Helps maintain weight • Helps to control blood pressure • Reduces feelings of depression and anxiety • Lowers risk of heart disease, colon cancer and type 2 diabetes Benefits of regular exercise

  7. Program participants will be provided with an activity log so they can plan and record any physical activity they do during the week. In addition to this, they will be sent weekly emails that will provide motivation and tips for getting active. All participants who successfully complete the challenge will be entered into a prize drawing. How it works

  8. Who is the program designed for? Anyone who is wanting to get more active and get into a routine of being physically active. • When do I need to complete the activities? Beneficial fitness activities can be done just about anywhere, so some activities can be performed in the workplace, while others will be performed outside the workplace. • How do I track? Save or print your activity log. Track minutes of intentional physical activity. Frequently Asked Questions

  9. Why is it important that I participate? Developing a regular fitness routine is vital to total wellness. And to be successful in incorporating fitness activities into our daily routine, we must plan. This program will provide you with the tools to effectively plan, and as a result, reap the benefits of daily activity. • What is the program goal? The goal is to provide the participant with the tools to make meaningful and healthful lifestyle changes. It focuses on intentionally planning to include activity in your daily routine. The challenge is to begin each week with a plan of how you will include activity in your day.

  10. Choose activities you enjoy doing. • Find a workout buddy. Helps with motivation and accountability. • Spread out your activity through the day if you’re short on time. Maybe do three 10 minutes sessions throughout the day. • Start parking your car farther away. • Take the stairs instead of the elevator. • Make a workout plan ahead of time. This could be as simple as packing a gym bag the night before. Quick tips for getting started
