  2. Where and when was she born? • Christa McAuliffe was born in Framingham, Massachusetts. • Her real name was Caroline.

  3. What was her early life like? She enjoyed playing sports, church, scouts and school. She grew up in Massachusetts. Christa graduated in June 1966.

  4. What was her family like? • She got married on August 1970.. Her husbands name was Steve McAuliffe. She and her husband moved to concord New Hampshire . She had two children named Steven and Caroline.

  5. What were her accomplishments? • She was famous because she followed her dreams. • Christa taught social studies. • She was interviewed on t.v. • She almost became an astronaut. • Christa had another job as a teacher. • She was Interview at the Whitehouse.

  6. When did she die and how? • The Challenger blew up when she was in it . • She died on January 28th 1989.
