Economic EngineKey Impact Indicators The Guard is the most leveraged department in state government: • 97% federally funded FY 09 Recruiting and Retention: RIARNG – 100% of Authorized RIANG – 104.4% of Authorized • State Funds are Used: • To Fund Key Military Staff Positions • To provide supplies and services, rentals, minor repair, and maintain over 125 buildings at 22 locations throughout the state

Forward March and About Face-obtain programs for Rhode Island. - Army Fixed Wing Aviation Program Sustainment - Youth Challenge Program-obtain support for state funding and facilities. - Air National Guard Active Associate Program participation. Facilities-maintain MILCON momentum; obtain administrative facilities for RIEMA; maintain existing RING facilities to ISR green status; transition RING from armories to installations; future year FYDP for RTI, CRC, Joint Medical Facility, weapons range - State Emergency Operation Center-a consolidated, multi-agency, 24/7/365 operation center, providing pro-active support, coordination, command and control.
