Useful Tools There are a number of useful tools that you can employ in a variety of ways during a search engine optimization campaign, from finding out how well your site ranks in the search engines, to analyzing potential link partners, from seeing what a search engine sees, to seeing how people are arriving at your Web site.

Google Toolbar • The Google toolbar (toolbar.google.com) is a great little tool • Searching Google without having to go to the Google site first • Seeing if a Web page is in Google’s cache • The ability to quickly search Google Maps • PageRankindicator • Pop-up blocker • Search Google for pages similar to the one you’re viewing
