  1. 10 Scriptures to Start Your Day

  2. God expects… Deuteronomy 11:18-20 Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,

  3. Psalm 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up

  4. Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

  5. Start the day with prayer 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

  6. Psalm 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

  7. Hunger and thirst for righteousness Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Psalm 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

  8. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

  9. Trust God’s Leadership Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

  10. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

  11. Jesus gives us strength and rest Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

  12. Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.  23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

  13. God loves us. Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  14. Colossians 3:23-24 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

  15. Work as if you’re working for God Ephesians 6:5-7 5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; 6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

  16. Matthew 6:33-34   33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

  17. Don’t waste your time worrying Ephesians 5:16 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil

  18. 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

  19. Learn to love everybody 2 Peter 1:5-7 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

  20. Learn to love everybody. Luke 6:27-35 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

  21. Learn to love everybody. Luke 6:27-35 32 “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

  22. Ecclesiastes 11:8 But if a man lives many years And rejoices in them all,       Yet let him remember the days of darkness,       For they will be many.       All that is coming is vanity.

  23. Remember why we’re here. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:      Fear God and keep His commandments,       For this is man’s all.        14 For God will bring every work into judgment,       Including every secret thing,       Whether good or evil.
