Physical Discription • Weight: 5000 to 7000 pounds • Length: up to 25 feet • Colors: gray and white • Skin: rough skin/teeth in skin • It has very good ears • 5 fins that are sharp • Coal black eyes • It has ten rows of teeth • 2 inch teeth • 1 fin on top of the body and 2 fins on the bottom of the body • Serrated teeth and a torpedo shaped body

  3. Habitat • Continents: Off the coast of north America, Europe and South America. • Oceans: pacific, Indian and Atlantic ocean. • Preferred climate: Around 25 degrees. • Biome: the deep sea. • It lives near coral reefs. • It hunts in the shallow waters.

Behavior • Diet: It eats all carcasses and it drinks salt water. • They get their food by hunting by itself. • It jumps up to get its prey. • They are loners. • They jump up and down in the water. • It sleeps in coral reefs at night time. • It swims near fishes habitat and near coral reefs. • It’s easier for a great white to catch a sick and weak fish than a strong and healthy fish • A great white can swim up to 25 miles per hour.

Reproduction • It has one to 2 babies at one time. • The young is called a pup • As soon as they are born they start hunting all by their selves. • The babies grow in the egg • It takes 9 to 12 months to develop the baby • They take care of themselves when they are a kid • Weight:40 ibs. • Length: 4 feet (1.2 meters) • Skin: bumpy skin • Eyes: coal black eyes • It hunts right after the egg pops out and it doesn’t even train for it

My animal and humans • Their endangered • Their endangered because people in china cut off their skin because they thought that it was magical. • They live around oceans • When people are swimming they mistake them for seals or if the fish is near it will mistake the human for the fish • Monteray bay aquariums great white died off because it was eating all of the fish

Interesting facts • When a tooth falls out it gets replaced quickly • In every meal at least one tooth falls out. • They have such strong teeth they can bite a 25 pounder in one bite! • Their the third biggest shark • They have such good sense of smell • They are the toughest animal on earth • The only fish that can jump out of the water • They have the sharpest teeth on the planet • Most of the teeth are found on the ocean floor

  8. What I think of my animal • I think it is a really interesting animal because it is the toughest animal on earth and it has the sharpest teeth on the planet
