Material Traceability • Material is given a unique barcode number based on the size, shape, and type • Material is also given a unique lot number which is based on the order information from the vendor • Material barcode label is placed: • (1) copy goes in a plastic holder which is placed on the actual raw material • (1) copy goes on the traveler which is the routing information • (1) copy goes on the job ticket which travels with the parts

Scheduling Department On time delivery at 96% collectively over all our customers as of March 2014 • Schedule is produced electronically • Schedule is fine tuned and carried out on one of several visual marker boards • Tags display appropriate information for the job and the work center • Since implementation of this system in 2012 on time delivery has jumped 13% to a collective average of 96%
