  3. Inclusive Sport Fund • Sport England Fund. • Creating Sporting habit for life; 14 plus age group; talent development. • Build on 2012 Legacy. • Round 2 will invest £7M in new projects.

  4. What will it Fund ? • Organisations with an appropriate constitution; good financial health and governance processes. • Sport Development Officers for project. • Revenue grants in excess of £10,000 ( No upper Limit) • Targets disabled people aged 14 plus with a recognised sporting activity/physical activity that leads to a recognised sport. • Activities that have not yet begun or scale up an existing project. • Projects that last up to 3 years.

  5. What will it not Fund ? • Capital/facility development projects. • Equipment only. • Solely physical activity i.e. walking, gardening unless it can be demonstrated as an entry point. • General running costs – e.g. on-going staff costs/ utililities. • One off events. • Items that only benefit an individual. • Foreign Trips.

  6. Assessment Criteria • Consultation & Insight. • Delivery & Impact. • Partnership & Feedback • Sustainability

  7. Consultation & Insight Strong applications demonstrated the following key attributes:- • Who will benefit from the projects. • What sporting activities would appeal. • Addressed barriers to taking part. • Explained information sources.

  8. Partnership & Feedback Strong applications demonstrated the following key attributes:- • A good range of partners joining up sporting & disability organisations. • Clear roles for each partner. • Strong Monitoring & Evaluation procedures. • Clear outcomes and feedback mechanisms.

  9. Delivery & Impact • Strong applications demonstrated the following key Attributes :- • Clear vision and detail of the project delivery requirements through a detailed delivery plan including activity, numbers and environment. • Linked delivery to the needs identified and outlined within the consultation and insight work.

  10. Sustainability • Strong applications demonstrated the following key attributes :- • Consideration & thought to sustainability of the project(s) beyond the funding term. • Addressed future roles partners. • Reasonable and achievable Income & Expenditure forecasts with assumptions.

  11. Time scale • Application needs to be submitted by close of play on Monday 2nd December 2013.   12. Priority Groups • Teenagers – 12 + (care!) • Transition from after school • Adults - decreasing day care provision. • 1 Profoundly disabled group from each authority and related family event.

  13. Focus Sports • Football • Tennis • Golf • Rowing • Cricket • Athletics • But not exclusively

  15. Potential Funding Model • DDO Lead Officer £75K • DDO Officer x 2 £90K • Delivery – doing stuff £120K • Workforce Development £30K • Marcomms £30K • Sub Total £345K • Partnership – in Kind Support ? • Partnership – Cash Funding ?

  17. Way Forward – 3 weeks to go • CND – today ! • Small working party to review application. • Feed in insight and consultation by 22nd November. • Feed in delivery thoughts/ideas/actual’s by 22nd November. • Complete application by 27th November.
