  1. Delivered 350th science pulse > 70T in 75T magnets assembly. (March 2008) • Completed rebuild & rework of 100T outsert coils 1-4, (November 2008) • Completed assembly of 100T Outsert, (January 2009) • Science Program delivers 100th 85T pulse (Insert #1) (May 2009) • 1st insert fault , non destructive as predicted. (June 2009) • Completed conceptual design of Duplex user magnet upgrade. (October 2009) • Magnet Group awarded R&D 100 Award (MRI for Carry-on Liquids) (October 2009) • Science Program delivers 150th 85T pulse (Insert #2) (December 2009) • Completed conceptual design of 95T – 100T insert upgrade (May 2010) • Commissioned 4 MJ Capacitor bank for User Program (June 2010) • Insert #3 fabricated and delivered as a spare (June 2010) • Science Program delivers 177th 85T pulse (Insert #2) (July 2010) • Released Outsert Conductor Procurement Package (spare outsert work) (July 2010) • Complete 10mm CAD Package for 95T-100T Upgrade (August 2010) WR Status and Highlights of the Pulsed Magnet Program WR WR WR as of summer 2010, mid-point in current award period

Delivering sustained 100 T science pulses using 2nd generation coil upgrades. • Operating 10-50 MJ capacitor bank or new Lithium-ion battery bank. • User facility operating at 80T–85T using duplex magnet technology optimized for new power technology. • coils use enhanced composite and conductor technologies. • Implementing 3rd generation coil technology for generator magnets. • 3rd generation upgrades implement fault tolerant coil technology and enhanced materials.
