  4. The Current Situation • USA Membership Decline – 26 years Without Substantial Growth • Ever-Changing Annual Programs • Obstacles to Success Age of members Attitudes – “It can’t be done” Leadership issues

  5. Current State of WW Membership • 1,323,013 Members • 45,663 Clubs in 205 Countries and GA’s • 477 New Clubs Since July 2009 • 33,079 New Members Since July, 2008 • 45,960 Dropped Members Since July, 2008 • Net WW Growth + 4080…. (as of July 2009)

  6. Current State of USA Membership • 375,658 Members • 12,825 Clubs….35 New Clubs…76 Dropped Clubs Since July • 7,149 New Members Since July • 12,101 Dropped Members Since July • Since July, there has been a Net USA Loss of 2,659 Members (as of July 2009)

  7. Current State of Canada Membership • 39,210 Members • 1,670 Clubs….5 New Clubs…11 Dropped Clubs Since July • 402 New Members Since July • 1181 Dropped Members Since July • Since July, there has been a Net USA Loss of 546 Members (as of July 2009)

  8. Current State of District 5M-11 • 1,986 Members • 68 Clubs • 132 New Members Since July • 147 Dropped Members Since July • Since July, we have a Net Loss of 15 Members! (as of March 31, 2010)

  9. Minnesota 2009-2010 Year to Date • 1,588 Members • 50 Clubs • 1 New Club • 99 New Members • 90 Members Dropped • Since July, a Net Gain of 9 Members!

  10. Manitoba2009-2010 YTD • 398 Members • 18 Clubs • 1 Dropped Club • 33 New Members • 57 Members Dropped • Since July, a Net Loss of 24 Members
