Why are we talking about this? • Breeding procedures manual has a procedure for OFT, but a bit unclear • CloneSelector 2.0 users guide (page 12) • Manual Gruneberg et al. 2010 • Analysis of OFT data not in CloneSelector • Would be nice, but we need to tell developers what we want • Required for variety release in some countries?

  3. Description of method in Uganda (Silver) • Survey of methods (How will we share this info?) • We will actually participate in OFT evaluation on Thursday field day

  4. Summary of survey(summary data will be circulated later) • Regions of the country targeted • Number of trials conducted ( - 171) • Replications at a site • Plot size • Traits measured
