  1. MOSQUITO DANGER Why do mosquitoes bite some people more than others? ASAIN TIGER MOSQUITO, LONG ISLAND NEW YORK

  2. WHY DO MOSQUITOS BITE SOME PEOPLE MORE THAN OTHERS ANSWER Mosquitoes are attracted to the amount of carbon dioxide in the breath, pregnancy, body temperature, alcohol and odorant markers based on blood type. One study found people with type O blood suffered more mosquito landings because of the odorant markers they emit than any other blood type, making their juices a hot commodity for blood banks, as well as Asian Tiger Mosquitoes, which can carry West Nile Virus. Also, having just 12 ounces of alcohol can increase your mosquito appeal, possibly because of the increase in body temperature it causes or because the skin markers change. Pregnancy can also cause mosquito attraction, because mothers seem to exhale 21 percent more carbon dioxide which makes your blood warmer which makes your chance of getting mosquito bites greater.

  3. Suffolk county has the most West Nile effected area in NEW YORK STATE
