  5. Objectives • Describe the objective of your project and what you were to achieve for the work covered by your presentation, i.e., the objective of your work over the past year • Your objectives should make it clear what the relevance of your project is to the Hydrogen Program (View Notes page for additional information)

  6. Example Objectives Slide

  7. Approach • Describe overall technical approach using one slide • Emphasize unique aspects of approach and de-emphasize discussion of equipment used • Use simple statements so that scientists and engineers not expert in your area can readily understand the explanation of your approach (View Notes page for additional information)

  10. Technical Accomplishments/ Progress/Results • Describe the most important technical accomplishments achieved during this reporting period and their significance (from last year’s review to date for existing projects, or progress to date for new projects) • Relate the accomplishments to project milestones and objectives • Benchmark the progress versus FY05 results, if applicable • Benchmark the accomplishments against the technical targets (if applicable) (View Notes page for additional information)

  11. Accomplishments/Progress/ Results Slides • Include sufficient slides to explain what was done leading to the technical accomplishments • Please limit your slides to the time you have available – you will not be allowed to go over your allotted time

  12. Accomplishments Slides (con’t) • To assist the reviewers evaluating your work, please include bullet comments of the key points on each slide • Though your presentation will be in color, it is best to choose colors and data symbols so that they can be easily distinguished in black and white for those reviewers with hardcopies

  13. Example Technical Accomplishments Slide

  14. Future Work • Explain what it is you plan to do during the rest of this year FY06 and next year FY07 • Highlight upcoming key milestones • Address how you will deal with any decision points during that time and any remaining issues (View Notes page for additional information)

  15. Example 1 Future Work Slide

  16. Example 2 Future Work Slide

  17. Summary • Summarize the key points you wish the audience and Reviewers to take away from your presentation • For those projects that are working towards specific technical targets, include a table summarizing key FY06 technical results compared to FY05 results, and the technical targets (see example slide)
