Who was Martin Luther King? • He was an American pioneer • He developed a crucial labour in USA for the Afro-Americans. • He took part as activist in protests againts he War of Vietnam and the poverty • He organized mediatory activities claiming the right to vote , anti segregation and other basic civil laws for the black people of US • King is remembered as one of the major leaders and heroes of the history in US ,and in modern history of not violence • He was decorated with the Nobel Prize in 1964

  2. The boycott of Montgomery’s buses • Campaign began in 1955, Alabama • Luther king initiated a boycott of buses • It was political and social protest with the intention of being opposed to politics of racial segregation in the system of public transport.

  3. March on Washington • More than 250 000 person from all races met on 1963 at the DC • Biggest manifestation has taken place in capital • A minimum wage of 2 dollars ,the end of racial segregation in public schools,significant legislation in the civil law

  5. On April 1968 he was murdered by a white segregationist on a balcony of his motel in Memphis while he was about to lead a manifestation .
