  2. What is Vocabulary Boot Camp? • Vocabulary Boot Camp is a program designed to improve and expand the use of dynamic and precise vocabulary in writers’ compositions and speech. • Build awareness of: • Precise, powerful words • Correct spellings • Part of speech • Parallel terms

  3. Method of Study • Each Tuesday you will receive a set of 10 words to be evaluated and applied for the week. • All vocabulary terms will be placed in your CORE CLASSROOMS for you to include in your writing and discussions • The following Tuesday you will be assessed on these 10 words (spelling, application, recognition) for a quiz grade. • Following the quiz, you will receive your next set of words.
