  1. Essential Work at Home Fitness Tips

  2. Work at Home Fitness Tips • During the pandemic, a number of working individuals are relegated to working from home to protect their health due to the Covid-19 situation. • Working from home has a number of benefits like being able to spend more time with your loved ones and having zero commute to work but it also has its downsides like the lack of exercise. • Fitness sometimes has taken a backseat when we are working from home. With that in mind, here are tips to help you out.

  3. Here Are Essential Work At Home Fitness Tips:

  4. Start the Day with an Exercise • It is important to begin the workday by doing any type of exercise, whether ones you learned in  gym class, or from an online fitness class. It is key to start the day being active. • Learn to stretch your joints and muscles, get some movement before you settle into your chair and start working. • Stretching and doing some light exercises can also help relieve joints and aches that you might get during long hours of sitting.

  5. Remember to Get Up from Time to Time • Sitting as they say is second only to smoking when it comes to the health risks. Being sedentary like sitting in your chair for long periods is not good for your health. • You put yourself at increased risk for high blood pressure, heart disease, Type 2 diabetes and obesity. • One key tip would be to buy a smartwatch that can remind you to stand up when it has detected that you have been sitting for too long, in that way you can always be reminded to get up and do some light exercises.

  6. Take Virtual Personal Training Sessions • Do you need help working out? You can actually take one to one personal training sessions virtually. • Full body workout can be custom tailored to your needs and limitations and your online trainor can help you find what is the best for you. • Your trainor can guide you so that you can achieve your workout goals in the comfort of your home.

  7. Keep Moving During Your Breaks • Make sure you get steps during your breaks. Walking up and down the stairs can help you get fit if you do it regularly. • The important thing to remember is to simply keep moving during your breaks. • This will help you burn some calories without you even knowing it.

  8. Do Some Household Chores • Doing some household chores can be a work out sometimes if you put some effort into it. Cleaning your room and washing dishes can help you get your mind off your work and help you de-stress. • To make it an exercise, do your ordinary household chores extra ordinarily well. • When you do that and take pride in cleaning your home, you can break a sweat and even enjoy it.
