  3. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy involves assessing, diagnosing, treating and managing pain in muscles, ligaments, tendons and bones. • Physiotherapy is broad-based and so it is suitable for treating and managing pain in common areas such as the back, neck, shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot. • Patients with problems originating from everyday wear and tear or sports injuries including muscle strains and tendon injuries (tendinopathy); and those recovering from surgery are some examples of those who benefit from the all-round approach that physiotherapy revolves around.

  4. Exercise Physiology • Healthy Bodies Physiotherapy is unique because it incorporates exercise physiology into its treatment programmes where necessary. • By combining physiotherapy with elements like nutritional and exercise advice, our patients benefit from a well-integrated approach with holistic outcomes. • Exercise physiology is suited to conditions such as: • Chronic fatigue syndrome • ype 2 diabetes • Metabolic syndrome • Fibromyalgia • Musculoskeletal conditions • Cancer • Stress management (including post-traumatic stress disorder) • Osteoporosis • Osteopenia • Hypertension

  5. Remedial Massage MassageRemedial Massage • Remedial massage is a technique which helps to offer pain relief for a number of musculoskeletal conditions and physio. • It is a targeted treatment that can include deep tissue massage, trigger point release, dry needling, cupping and myofasical release to have a desired therapeutic effect. • Healthy Bodies Physiotherapy has an experienced remedial masseur who works holisitically with other practitioners at the clinic to provide comprehensive patient care.

  6. Group Rehabilitation and Pilates classes • Some patients may require more supervision with rehabilitation or training to correct musculoskeletal conditions that have developed over time or as a result of a sporting injury. • In this case, our group rehabilitation and Pilates classes are a more cost-effective solution as opposed to one-on-one sessions with our physiotherapists. • Our group classes take a maximum of just 4 students, so our physiotherapists can provide each patient with the individual attention they deserve. • Our group classes are also designed for versatility, so we tailor a customised plan for each participant in the class, whether they will benefit most from specific exercise rehabilitation, Pilates or a combination.
