    • Nonprofit internships provide a variety of growth opportunities by allowing interns to take on many diverse roles

    • Ex. Wrote Pioneer Press articles, helped plan the Wish Ball, re-launched the Kids For Wish Kids program, helped conduct fundraising

    • Unpaid internships can demonstrate that you are willing to work for the experience and knowledge

    • Unpaid internships can get aid from the College of Liberal Arts

      • CLA Undergraduate Internship Grant

    • Unpaid internships generally provide flexible hours

      • Unpaid interns can work more hours if they want because, in general, organizations will not pay paid workers overtime if they want to work more
