Driving Change: Licensing Support Program • Aims • Reduce barriers to licensing for Aboriginal people aged 16-24 both in attainment of licenses and re-establishment after license suspensions • Strengthen licensing and road safety services • Provide communities with a more coordinated approach to address community identified shortcomings • Community ownership, consultation and engagement • Twelve sites • Youth worker • Local steering committee • Youth engagement committee • Project steering committee

Driving Change: Licensing Support Program • Driving Change • Provides case management and mentoring young people through the licensing system • Facilitates access to existing local services • Addresses the issue of state debt/unpaid fines • Assisting communities to establish a learner driver mentor program • Evaluation • Program sustainability • Formative, process and outcome • Stepped wedge design • Mixed methods approach utilising epidemiological data, program data, qualitative interviews and focus groups
