  4. Attire • Formal meetings • Lightweight tropical suit • Men and women • Less formal meetings • Smart casual shirts & blouses

  5. Business Cards • Should be exchanged right after initial introduction • Use right or both hands to exchange cards • Treat card with respect • How you handle the card indicates how you will treat the person

  6. Introduction • Depends on relationship, hierarchy & age • Oldest or highest rank first • People are addressed with honorific title • “Lok” for man & “Lok Srey” for woman • Honorific title is followed by first name • Sometimes first and surname • Ex: Lok Srey Frankie Bostic

  7. Dining • Wait to be told where to sit • So you don’t mess up hierarchical arrangements • Oldest person is usually seated first • Oldest person should start eating first • Don’t start eating until eldest has began • Never discuss business in such social settings
