  3. Contract Completion Dates • 37 OPETs : 31st October 1999 • 2 OPETs : 31st December 1999 • 14 FEMOPETs : 31st December 1999 No contract extensions will be accepted Resources not used by these dates will be lost

  4. Final Reports What’s different about this report? • Should include results from the last 2 - 3 years • MUST be submitted within 1 month of end date • Network Indicators MUST be used • Use Part A and B forms only BUT • Progress in final reporting period must be identified separately

  5. How to prepare the reports Part A Forms • Highlight success stories • Cross reference to Part B forms Part B Forms • Demonstrate market impact • Use NIs to quantify impact • Identify progress in last 6 months Supporting Documentation • Evidence of output/impact

  6. What financial information is needed? Part B forms • Costs incurred in final period (by Task) Cost Statements • Partner and consolidated costs for final period ( take in consideration any adjustment to previous costs: explain) Other information • Complete spreadsheet (EC to provide)

  7. Tips for successful reporting Mechanics of reporting • Clear and concise • Use forms properly • Provide supporting documents • Check the figures for consistency

  10. Network Indicators HOW ARE NIS BEING IMPLEMENTED? The situation now: • Existing indicators are already converted • OPETs/FEMOPETs must validate these

  13. OPET Network Review What is the review? • Well presented document (~100 pages) • Targeted at wide audience • Explain what the Network is and how it works • Highlight achievements/benefits to client • Demonstrate impact/cost-effectiveness

  14. OPET Network Review What will it contain? • Description of the Network • Review of the Network (EC perspective) • Success stories from the Network • OPET-CU perspective • OPET/FEMOPET perspective • Client perspective

  15. OPET Network Review What happens now? • General text in preparation • Review of Network performance (NIs) • Identification of success stories • Preparation of success story material • Publication (late 1999)
