  4. Drive Less • Car pool • Walk or ride a bicycle • Shop by phone or mail • Ride public transit • Telecommute

  5. Drive Smart • Accelerate gradually • Use cruise control • Replace your car’s air filter • Keep your tires properly inflated • Obey the speed limit

  6. Use Air-Friendly Products • Paint with a brush, not a sprayer • Store solvents in an air-tight container • Use a push or electric lawn mower

  7. Save Energy • Install low flow shower heads • Insulate your water heater • Dry your clothes on a clothesline • Use a fan instead of air conditioning • Heat small meals in a microwave over

  8. Recycle • Reuse paper bags • Recycle paper, plastics, and metal • Print and photocopy on both sides of the paper
