  2. Transforming Thoughts/Transforming Actions Hebrews 4:11,12 (KJV) Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  3. “As A Man Thinks…” • Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience. [12] For the word of God is living and active.

  4. Profession vs. Values Hebrews 4:14 (KJV) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Hebrews 4:15-16 (NIV) For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin. [16] Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

  5. It’s About People! Hebrews 10:23 (NIV)—act out what you believe otherwise you don’t believe it. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. [25] Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

  6. Hold Fast Tradition/Teaching 2 Thes. 2:15 (KJV) Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

  7. Hold Fast to Trust! 2 Tim. 1:11-12 (NIV)— have you entrusted anything to God for safe keeping? And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. [12] That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.

  8. Hold Fast to Truth! 2 Tim. 1:13-14 (NIV) What you heard from me, keep as (hold fast!) the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. [14] Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you (truth & goodness)--guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

  9. Hold Fast to Confidence! Hebrews 3:6 (KJV) But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

  10. Hold Fast Until Jesus Returns Rev. 2:25-26 (KJV) But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. [26] And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
