  2. Composition BookMs. Annie SimpsonLa Cima Middle School7th Grade Science(write your name, school and grade on the front) These are composition books that are about $0.50 to $1.00 each. You will need at least two or three notebooks for the year. They can be college or wide ruled. Do not scribble in them, draw pictures or tear out pages. (Cardboard cover)

  4. Contacts People • On this page you will write the name and phone numbers of several of your classmates. • Remember that you can call them if you have questions about an assignment in science OR other classes • You will exchange email address for projects and passwords for Glogster assignments

Table of Contents Pg. 2 Inquiry notes on Observation____Pg 4 Observation Foldable________Pg. 5 Kiabab Deer HW___________ On the top of the next 8 pages (each paper counts as two pages) Above the first line write “Table of Contents”. This is were you will put the page number of your book starting at the first line and left of the red vertical line. We do not give pg numbers to the Table of Contents. (next 8 pages)

  6. Table of Contents This is only an example of how you will be using the Table of Contents. The Table of Contents MUST match where the material is in the science notebook. This is just like your textbook. Pg 2 Observation_______________ Pg 8 Mystery lab_______________

  7. S C I E N C E I N Q U R E R Y _ 8/10 FQ: The sense that I could live without is taste because I’ve noticed that my grandparents loose their taste when they get old I would miss pizza. Make a new tab for each unit of study. FQ means focus question. Write the answer in complete sentences. Always put the Date left of the red line.Always put the date for each day that you enter information. You will be continuing withnotes, labs, class work right under the FQ. Many times you will be taping in work that is returned to you. 1

This is your responsibility!!! • You are responsible For stapling, taping • in your returned assignments • Your notebooks will be collected during the • quarter for completeness of work. 2
