Cream bes notes 1

CREAM-BES Notes / 1

CREAM-BES actually consists of two components:

The legacy CREAM from the gLite infrastructure

Developed by the EGEE project in the gLite ETICS repository

Yaim-based automatic installation procedure has been developed by EGEE

The BES interface developed by OMII-EU

Developed by OMII-EU in the omii-europe ETICS repository

The BES interface is a set of JARs which extend the functionality of the legacy CREAM

Both the legacy CREAM interface and the BES one are available

The BES interface can use both x509 certificates and/or SAML assertions as used by VOMS-SAML

Capabilities of the BES endpoint will be published using the information provider developed by OMII-EU JRA2 (GlueSchema 2.0)‏
