Dense traffic in city centers: solutions? • Taxistop: “How to convince people not to buy a car?”: • Purchase of a car = biggest cost • Car OWNERSHIP increases car use and reduces public transport use • CarSHARING can force a mind change: • “Use of car is a choice for carsharers, not a reflex” • Therefore Taxistop invested a lot in carsharing. 4

Advantages of carsharing? • Pay only when you use a car: financially interesting if you need a car only occasionally! • Easy and no worries: no annual maintenance, technical control, … • Always a modern car • Always a free parking spot when you come back • Cambio is just like your own car, but without the worries
