  6. What sorts of internships are there? Education Development Research Peer Counseling Hospitals (with psychological services) Social Services Clinics Business Community Outreach & Activism

  7. The Big Three Research - Summer Research Programs Clinical - Counseling & Psychological Services I/O - Industry & Business

  8. Summer Research at Institutes • Work with researcher assisting in their research • Usually 8-10 weeks in summer • Stipends between $1,000-$3,000

  9. Summer research at University • Work with faculty mentor in research • Sometimes GRE or other seminars • In addition to stipend, food, housing and transportation is provided or funded • Application process similar to grad app • Letters of rec • Transcripts • Essay (Focused on research topic)
