By strand weaving the fibres, it ensures the flooring is by far the hardest where is it twice as hard as vertical or horizontal and more dimensionally stable. The bamboo is machined down to strands which are air dried, treated with insect retardant, coated with adhesive, heat compressed and left natural or carbonised. Strand Woven flooring displays similar characteristics to solid hardwood floor.  Call Us: 1800 170252 http://www.utlaust.com.au

  6. Horizontal Bamboo Flooring Horizontal bamboo flooring displays the bamboo knots in a subtle and attractive pattern. It is made from horizontally cut bamboo laminates laid to provide maximum stability and treated with insect retardants and coated with adhesive. The horizontal bamboo floor also comes in natural tones or carbonized form and gives the appearance of the characteristic knuckles of the bamboo stalks. 7. Vertical Bamboo Flooring Vertical bamboo flooring displays an attractive fine grain appearance. It is made from bamboo lengths cut vertically with the slim 5mm thick lengths bonded and treated similarly to the horizontal bamboo laminates.
