  2. Cervical Cap • A silicon cap that is placed over the cervix, and is used to prevent pregnancy. • It is thought of as a barrier method of preventing pregnancy, because it puts a physical barrier between the sperm and egg. • It is often used along with spermicide.

  3. Condom • Condoms are used to prevent both pregnancy and STDs. • They have been proven to reduce the transmission of viruses and bacteria that cause diseases like AIDS, genital herpes, genital warts, or syphilis. Giant Condom on Obelisk.

  4. Genital Warts • Are caused by some types of the HPV virus. • Genital Warts are growths or bumps contracted from sexual contact. • They can be avoided by getting the HPV vaccine, Gardasil. • The other way to avoid the warts is to NOT HAVE SEX. • Or to use a condom, but results may vary.
