Conclusion: Why Provo? • Central location, accessible, with local planetary people • Beautiful setting near mountains • New convention center is the right size for DPS • Cheap (presumably) – rooms in convention center Marriott going for $89 this week • Not the kind of location that would set off alarm bells at NASA HQ, and very low probability of showgirls at banquet.
