  2. Involvement Remains Same • Their involvement level does not change. • If they loved the kids before the separation, they keep on loving the kids the same way. • If the interaction of father was less before the separation, it will remain less after the separation.

  3. Involvement Increases • Some fathers realize the importance of their children and their involvement increases. • They want to spend more time with the children after the separation. • They want to play an effective role in the lives of the children after the separation.

  4. Involvement Decreases • Some fathers try to involve less after the separation. • They feel that they meet with the children less frequently which affects the bonding. • Some of the fathers feel that the mother of the children doesn’t want them around.
