Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial • The Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial was a difficult project • The memorial has plaques in many languages stating: • "Forever let this place be a cry of despair and a warning to humanity where the Nazis murdered about one and a half million men, women and children, mainly Jews, from various countries of Europe."

  3. Berlin Denkmal Memorial • Monument to the Murdered Jews of Europe, its in Germany's capital • It features 2500 granite stones, in the form of a rolling cemetery Also……

  4. Interior of Museum contains letters of victims  on the floor projected through light boxes. The boxes on the floor mirror the monument above.

  5. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC • The Holocaust Memorial Museum is a memorial to the millions who died during the Nazi regime in Germany during World War II. • The museum is located just off of the National Mall in Washington, DC.

  6. The exhibit uses more than 900 artifacts, 70 video monitors, and four theaters showing film footage and eyewitness testimonies of Nazi concentration camp survivors • This museum also contains images of death and destruction which are graphic
