  3. Jazz Jazz was loud. Syncopated and emotional. Influenced by King Oliver and his Creole Band. First developed in the south by various black musicians. Very addictive to people due to its unusual rhythms. Became very popular after the Harlem Renaissance. Music of the 1920’s was nicknamed, “The Jazz Age.”

  5. The Blues Dominated by African Americans. The Blues assisted people in overcoming the struggles of the early 20th Century. Expanded from the improvement in recording technology.   8. The Radio Revolutionized the culture of people living in the 1920’s. Very important to their lifestyle. Gave people a way to get information and listen to music from all over the world. Listened right from the comfort of their homes.
