Bundling it to download manager, free games, tools, and fake software update is another trick to deploy YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET/find.php quickly.


  • As an official home page of Videobah, this hijacker do not come alone. Aside from the mentioned program, toolbars and new tab arrives with it too. As you can notice, YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET/find.php and company occupy almost every function on the browser. This was done on purpose. Author of this adware mean to convince user to use its search engine and other features habitually. In return, YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET/find.php generates revenue through advertisements and promotion that it delivers.

  • • In the address bar type chrome://settings/

  • • Click on the Extensions tab

  • • Find related YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET or other suspicious extension and click the delete icon.

  • • Reset Homepage and search engine.


  • Mozilla Firefox toolbars and extensions:

  • • Open Firefox

  • • In the address bar type about:addons

  • • Click Extensions tab.

  • • Find related YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET or other suspicious extension.

  • • Click the Remove button.



  • Windows 7 / Vista toolbars and extensions:

  • • Click Start and choose Control Panel.

  • • Choose Programs and Features and Uninstall a program.

  • • In the list of installed programs find files and programs associated to YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET

  • • Click Uninstall button.


  • Windows 8 /8.1 toolbars and extensions:

  • • Right click on the bottom left corner of the desktop screen

  • • From the left menu choose Control Panel

  • • Click Uninstall a program under Programs and Features.

  • • Locate the files and programs associated with YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET or other suspicious program.

  • • Click Uninstall button.

  • • %ProgramFiles%\YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET\ Personal-browser.com64.dll

  • • %ProgramFiles%\YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET\Uninst.exe

  • • %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\RAC\StateData\RacWmiDataBookmarks.dat

  • • %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\RAC\StateData\RacWmiEventData.dat

  • • %AllUsersProfile%\Microsoft\RAC\StateData\RacWmiDataBookmarks.dat

  • • %AllUsersProfile%\Microsoft\RAC\StateData\RacWmiEventData.dat


  • Next, YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET creates the following registry entries:

  • • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{814664b0-d93b-4da6-9216-722c56179397}

  • • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{814664b0-d93b-4da6-9216-722c56179397}

  • • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Activation Technologies\AdminObject\Store\55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f

  • • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects



  • Perform the following steps to delete the associated Registry entries by YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET

  • 1. While in the desktop view, Press window’s icon and R.

  • 2. It will open the Run window and type “regedit”.

  • 3. It will open the Registry Editor window, Now you need to locate and delete all registry items associated to YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET.


  • 4. Go to File<Click Export Registry entries by YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET

  • 5. Save the file in c:\ as regbackup. Click save.

  • 6. Go to Edit< find< Type YOURCONNECTIVITY.NET

  • 7. Press F3 to search.

  • 8. Once an item is found, read to make sure it is a link to that program.

  • 9. Press delete to remove it.

  • 10. Continue pressing F3 and deleting items pertaining to the program, until all the links are gone.
