  2. Background - OSR eBGT Project – Online Standards Registry (OSR) The UN/CEFACT Online Standards Registry (OSR) is the prime mechanism for storing, managing and distributing UN/CEFACT artefacts. It is designed to be used in two contexts: • by all users to search and retrieve one or more public stored artefacts; • by the various working groups within UN/CEFACT to submit, validate, search, and retrieve private, working and public stored artefacts. OSR is implementation of UN/CEFACT Registry Implementation Specification, V 1.3 UN/CEFACT Registry Implementation Specification based on OASIS ebXML Reg/Rep • ebXML Registry Information Model (RIM) • ebXML Registry Services Specification (RS)
