  2. What is a season? • When the sun is in the sky longer, it has more time to warm up the Earth so its Summer! • When the sun is in the sky shorter time, it has less time to warm up the Earth so it is Winter! • Spring and Fall are in between Summer and Winter.

  5. Fall The first day of fall is September 22nd! Games • Holidays in the Fall: • Back to School • Columbus Day • Halloween • Thanksgiving What do I wear?? In the fall the weather starts to get cooler so you wear pants and jackets.

  6. Winter December 21st is the first day of Winter! Games What do I wear?? • Holidays in winter: • Christmas • New Year’s Day • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day • Groundhog Day • Chinese New Year • Valentine’s Day • President’s Day It is very cold in the winter so we wear gloves, hats, coats, boots, pants, scarfs and anything to keep you warm!

  7. Spring March 20th is the first day of Spring! Games What do I wear?? The spring time is still pretty cold and very wet so we wear rain coats, boots and hats. We usually have umbrella’s with us too! • Holidays in the Spring: • St. Patrick’s Day • Easter • Earth Day • Mother’s Day

  8. Summer June 21st is the first day of Summer! Games What should I wear?? • Holidays in the Summer: • Father’s Day • Fourth of July • Labor Day In the summer it is very hot so we wear t-shirts and shorts. A lot of the time we also wear swimming suits!
