  2. Theme:Give thanks for God’s work in lives of brothers and sisters. • Give thanks for brothers and sisters • Give thanks for partnership in the gospel • Give thanks for our completion

  3. Give thanks for brothers and sisters (vv. 3-4) • Give thanks to God whenever his thoughts turn to his brothers and sisters. • Material possessions and circumstances are secondary; believers are most precious. (i) Php 4:12-13 (ii) I Jn 5:1

  4. Give thanks for gospel partnership (v. 5) • Philippian believers partnered with Paul since the day they believed (Php 4:2-3) • TCCGP believers are partners in the gospel • Ministry vision (2): Mission-directed church, spreading abundant life.

  5. 3. Give thanks for our completion (v. 6) • God began, and will complete, His work in us • From beginning to end (i) Beginning: new heart (ii) End: Day of Christ (iii) Now: God at work (2:13) • Ministry vision (1): Healthy church, enjoying abundant life.

  6. Conclusion: THANK GOD FOR: • Ahealthy church, enjoying abundant life. • A mission-directed church, spreading abundant life.
