  24. Demographics X Content Items • The following slides present statistically significant and substantial associations between demographic items and content items from the survey.

  25. University Contribution: Residency • A large majority of respondents agree that the university should contribute to the cost of a ladder truck, but permanent residents are more likely than students to agree with this position.

  26. University Contribution: Age • On average, older residents are more likely than younger residents to agree that the university should contribute to a new ladder truck purchase.

  27. Awareness ATS: Residency • Almost 80% of resident respondents are aware of ATS. • Only 55% of student respondents are aware of ATS.

  28. Awareness ATS: Age • Older respondents are more likely than younger respondents to be aware of ATS.

  29. Not Using ATS: Residency • Most resident respondents reported no need for ATS as the reason for non-use. • Student respondents reported no need and lack of information as reasons for non-use.

  30. Not Using ATS: Age • Most age groups reported no need for ATS as a reason for non-use, but some 18-22 yr olds also reported a lack of information as a reason for non-use.

  31. ATS Improvement: Residency • Many respondents reported aneed for more available routesto improve ATS. • Many permanent residents also stated the need for multiple improvements to ATS (i.e., Other).

  32. Improvement to ATS: Age • Many of the youngest and oldest respondents reported the need for more available routes to improve ATS.

  35. Conclusions • Most respondents are aware of the ATS, but see no need for the system and they are neutral about it. • For students, one key issue may be lack of information about ATS. • A large majority of respondents regard street projects as vital, but only a slight majority indicate willingness to pay for them.
