  2. Planting Procedures Pg. 8 • 1. Decorate your container. Make sure your name is on it. • 2. Fill ½ of the container with potting soil. • 3. Using a pen or pencil, create 3 holes that are about ¾ of an inch deep. • 4. Put one seed in each hole. • 5. Gently cover the holes with the soil. DO NOT PACK DOWN THE SOIL. • 6. Add enough water to slightly dampen the soil. DO NOT OVER WATER!!!
