  1. Direction Slide • Here are some things to remember when creating your PowerPoint: • Delete everything in red as you go along! This is just to show you where your typing will go. • Add pictures to each slide. • Don’t forget to check punctuation and spelling! • You can be creative and change the font, the colors, and the size. • Be sure that I can still read all of your information.

  2. Name of American Indian Tribe Names of Group Members Class Name (example 2Q)

  3. Location • Where is this tribe from? • Add a map of the location of your tribe. • Write a couple of sentences describing the land that your tribe is from. • Is it in the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest?

  4. Homes • What types of homes does your tribe live in? (example Teepee) • Add a picture of their homes. • Write a couple of sentences describing what their homes look like. • What are their homes made out of? Are they made out of bricks or cow hide?

  5. Clothing • What types of clothes do people in this tribe wear? • What does it look like? • What is it made out of? • Add a picture to show the clothing.

  6. Food • What types of food do they eat? • Do they eat meat or do they eat vegetables? • How do they get their food? • Do they have to hunt for their food? • Do they grow some of their food? • Add a picture to show the food.

  7. Roles of Men and Women • What types of chores do the men have? • What types of chores do the women have? • Add pictures to show what they men and women look like.

  8. Trades and Art • Is this tribe known for their artwork? • For example, weaving, pottery, paintings? • Do they trade things that they made with other tribes? • Add pictures to show their artwork.

  9. Interesting Information • Here is where you can add any interesting information or fun facts that you learned from your research. • Pictures are a great way to show us what you learned!
