  24. SCHOOL BEGINS AT 8:10 AM BE PREPARED & BE ON TIME!

  25. If you are tardy, you must get a pink slip from Ms. Ruddell in the Attendance Office.

  26. YOU MUST BRING A WRITTEN NOTE FROM A PARENT OR DOCTOR WITHIN 3 DAYS OF YOUR ABSENCE IN ORDER FOR YOUR ABSENCE TO BE EXCUSED!

  27. CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE In order to get your driver’s license or learner’s permit, you must have a Certificate of Attendance. To obtain a Certificate of Attendance, you must sign the notebook in Ms. Kebler’s office on the Home Ec. Wing. You may pick up your Certificate three (3) days after you sign. NOTE: There is no charge for the first Certificate of Attendance. Additional Certificates are $5 each.

  28. ADAP…ALCOLHOL & DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAM If you have taken the ADAP class and need your certificate to get your driver’s license, please see Ms. Kebler. Her office is located on the Home Ec wing near the cafeteria.

  29. SCHEDULING A CONFERENCE

  30. YOU MAY SCHEDULE A CONFERENCE WITH YOUR COUNSELOR BY MAKING AN APPOINTMENT AT COUNSELOR’S CORNER. PARENTS MAY SCHEDULE MEETINGS WITH TEACHERS &/OR COUNSELORS BY CALLING 890-6145.

  31. PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES ARE HELD ON THURSDAYS AT 3:30. CONFERENCES MUST BE SCHEDULED IN ADVANCE!

  32. SAT & ACT TESTING

  33. Colquitt County High School and the State of Georgia recommend that students take the ACT prior to taking the SAT. Research indicates that students who take the ACT first score higher on the SAT.

  38. LUNCH DELIVERY TO STUDENTS IS NOT ALLOWED! THIS INCLUDES DELIVERY BY PARENTS!

  39. PROGRESS REPORTS ARE SENT HOME EVERY 4-1/2 WEEKS

  40. 2013-14 PARKING PERMITS COST: $20 See Mrs. Norman in the Main Office to pay; then see Ms. Kebler in the 11th-12th grade office. You will need description of vehicle, proof of insurance, tag number and driver’s license.
