ARTEMIS theAdvanced Research & Technology in EMbeddedIntelligence and Systems • Started in 2004 as a European Technology Platform ( ETP) within FP7 Private Public Partnership as an industry driven initiative • Became a JTI in 2007 (a Joint Technology Initiative) • ARTEMIS JU • Launches annual calls since 2008: 2013 is the 6th call

  3. …The guiding principles for Call 6 • 2013 is the last call within ARTEMIS JU actual setting • Pursue fulfilling ARTEMIS high level targets and strategy: • cross domain industrial priorities serving application domains and societal challenges • Implement the Research Agenda topics /challenges to insure good coverage through the AWPs and projects • Maximize the use of the available budget from PAB • attract additional budget for both ASPs and AIPPs • Sustain the Research Agenda implementation • Building on the growing ARTEMIS Projects portfolio : significant results and clustering around societal challenges • Complementarity of the top-down approach (defined in the Research Agenda) with the bottom-up needs expressed by the CoIEs
