  2. √To do list: Planning suggestions with timelines: • Place retreat dates on school calendar & Website-June for the following year • Establish budget-June • Book venue 6 months in advance (Remember others are doing the same) • Book buses 3-4 months in advance • (Retreat Facilitator if required) 6 months in advance • Priest for Liturgical Celebration 3-4 months in advance • Fill out requisite school field trip forms- 2 months in advance • Make luncheon arrangements- 1-2 months in advance • Permission letter to parents/guardians 3 weeks in advance • Letters to Peer Ministers who may be accompanying you 3 weeks in advance • Establish date for signed permission forms and monies collected-2 weeks in advance • Arrangements made for students who need assistance (Special Needs…financial assistance) (2 months in advance) • Arrange EA support if needed-One month in advance • Notify office of teacher coverage required- one month in advance

Introduce Retreat Theme-Becoming a Disciple Opening Prayer Thank you Lord for this day Anoint us with your Spirit Jesus that we might bring good news to the oppressed, bind up the broken hearted, and proclaim release to the captive. Give us a new urgency and a new commitment to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, and visit those who live in isolation. Help us to reach out to those whom no one else will touch, to accept the unacceptable, and to embrace the enemy. Surround us with your love, fill us with your grace, and strengthen us for your service. Bless us this day as we strive to grow in love and service to one another.
