  1. The Day That Cait Was Late

  2. Cait woke up late for school on Tuesday morning. She did not have time to get ready so she was stuck in her pajamas for the day.

  3. Just when she thought she would make the bus, she missed it. Cait automatically knew that this would be a terrible day. She had to walk to school, and it was raining.

  4. When Cait finally arrived to school twenty minutes after the school day began, she realized she did not have a lunch, or lunch money.

  5. Immediately when Cait’s class saw her in her pajamas, they all laughed at her. She certainly looked as if she just rolled out of bed.

  6. Cait tried her best to just ignore her classmates. She sat down in her seat, unpacked her backpack, and looked up at the chalk board. That is when she saw what was written on the board. There was a pop quiz today.

  7. Cait could not wait for this day to be over so that she could go home and forget everything that happened.

  8. Half way through the day, Cait received a report that she wrote and turned in last week. When she saw that she got an F, she immediately started crying. “Could this day get any worse?” she thought.

  9. The day had finally came to an end and it was finally time for Cait to go home. She was so thankful that soon she would be able to go to bed, and begin a new day. She has learned her lesson, to never ever be late ever again!
