Our Road to Virtualization 2007 Vmware Server - 3 test servers, never added to production environment 2008 Esxi for free, vCenter Converter 3 – 3 hosts, 1 main servers (6 VM’s), 1 failover, 1 support cold backup conversions weekly, no Windows 2008 support 2009 vCenter Converter 4 – P2V conversions nightly of all VM’s 2008’s require telephonic reactivation (3 days), approx 12 hours to bring up backups

  10. Future VizioncorevConverter – continuous protection hourly Esxi Administration – Kodiak Blue Bear Host in DMZ – external web sites Quad Core servers – donations? SAN? Vmware full version – vMotion?
